The Pediatric Student Interest Group (PSIG) in Amman, Jordan, is a vibrant community of medical students hailing from the University of Jordan dedicated to exploring the fascinating world of pediatrics. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and connect students passionate about child health and development.
We provide a platform to access valuable educational resources, engage in pediatric research, share experiences, and participate in hands-on workshops and events. Through collaboration and innovation, we aim to foster a supportive environment that cultivates the next generation of pediatric healthcare professionals committed to improving child well-being locally and globally.

How can students join you?
Members are free to join through links provided on all social media platforms or by directly contacting PSIG and its officers for priority access to PSIG’s events and opportunities.
Officers are recruited on a need basis and based on available spots in PSIG’s roster. Forms will be uploaded when officers are needed, and they will be reviewed by their respective teams to choose the most appropriate candidates.
An officer has to be a clinical student at the University of Jordan and must be in their clinical years.
What can students expect when they join you?
A wide array of research, events, and seminars, along with experiences in the field of pediatrics throughout the year, as well as genuine opportunities to help support and evolve the pediatric community locally and globally.
